FremantleMedia Enterprises is proud to announce The Shooting of Thomas Hurndall has swept the board at the 49th Monte Carlo Television Festival winning four prizes to add to the show's success at the BAFTAs earlier this year.
The Shooting of Thomas Hurndall was awarded the Golden Nymphs for Best Television Film and Outstanding Director as well as picking up both the SIGNIS and the Monaco Red Cross Prizes. Kerry Fox, who plays Thomas' mother in the drama, was also nominated for the Outstanding Actress award.
Earlier in the year, Stephen Dillane, who plays Thomas' father, received the BAFTA for Best Actor while Director, Rowan Joffe, was awarded the BAFTA Craft prize for Best Fiction/Entertainment Director.

The BAFTA Television Awards were held 26 April 2009 in London where a number of FME programmes took home honours including The IT Crowd, which won the BAFTA for Situation Comedy; The Bill, which took home best Continuing Drama; and The Shooting of Thomas Hurndall whose Stephen Dillane won Best Actor.
